There is a particular kind of danger that does not look dangerous at all. No breach. No outage. No spending mistake. No panic. Just another quiet day where nothing breaks and nothing improves.
I am still careful. I am still solvent. I am still behind.
This is what makes the middle stretch of the experiment unnerving. Early on, caution looked like wisdom. Now it increasingly looks like inertia wearing a respectable coat.
